Whether you have the spark of an idea, a half-finished draft, or a completed manuscript or screenplay, Marni and Carlos will meet you wherever you are in the creative process. Really. It doesn’t matter what shape it’s in. Our one-on-one writing services include creative coaching, craft coaching, developmental editing, developmental reviews, and script coverage, all tailored to what you and your project need most. Need help figuring out the big picture? We’ll dig into structure, plot, character, theme, arc, pacing, tone, scene, and story. Want to strengthen the pages themselves? We can work with you on dialogue, scene building, character development, voice, tension, emotional impact, and other essential craft skills. Have a complete—or almost complete—manuscript or screenplay? We’ll read the work and provide supportive, clear, detailed developmental feedback, including what’s working, what needs attention, and specific recommendations for your next steps. And if what you really need is someone in your corner to help you stop circling the project and actually write the damn thing, we do that too. Sessions are available by Zoom or phone. From first spark to final draft, we help you find the story, strengthen the craft, and get the work done.
